AIRBNB INC 415-800-5959 CA

I just saw this same fraudulent charge on my account. They charged me $200.35 on 8/10/2020 and did a credit for the same amount the same day. I NEVER use AIRBNB. I had to call the bank and cancel my card before they decide to use it again and drain my account.

I called the number a man seemed concerned. Took my number . put me on hold twice while he contacted his so called support team! All lies! And when I called him out on it he hung up.....

Airbnb charged $602 to my debit card. After 2 weeks of emails exchanges they still won't tell me who used my card. Airbnb is fraudulent organisation. I will never use them nor recommend anyone else to use them. They stole my money. If they hadn't stolen my money they would have told me who used my card. Fraudulent people full of nonsense.

Dated 1/11/23 to 1/15/2023, I also had three fraudulent AIRBNB charges post from 415-800-5959. Wells Fargo Bank cancelled my credit card and sent me a new one. Sorry it happened and I'm not liable, but glad to know I'm not the only victim.

Fraudulent charge of $750.00. Staff was very unhelpful and would not explain their internal process, nor would they connect me with the "complaints" department. I've never used AIRBNB and am not a member. This should have flagged the charge up front. Judging by the complaints, this is a common practice and they probably make money bc some folks can miss small charges. These people are low life bottom feeders. The charge ID on the cards was: AIRBNB TABWPK2Z 4158005959 CA. Note the phone number: 415-800-5959.

AirBnb is still active, just attempted to use my debit card for almost $3,000. Jokes on them the only thing I spend money on is my car and I'm currently broke

Unauthorized charge of $716.87 on 11/14/2022. Called the bank while it was still pending. They said to give it a day to see if it would be reversed. Cancelled the debit card. Now have to go in to complete the affidavit, wait 2 weeks for a new card and change all of my auto pymts. This is a fake AIRBnB merchant account. Completely agree with the above drawn and quartering statement above.

Charged $747.00 two separate times (denied once due to insufficient funds in my checking account) on 2/26/2023 at 10:18 CST at AIRBNB * TAF48BNK, San Francisco CA. I do not have an Airbnb account and cannot make one due to my age.

Airbnb * hmn5s3be5c 415 800 5959 ca charged $461 to my credit card. this fraud hasn't been stopped, beware! Airbnb had no record of the charge. Locked my card and reported it to my Credit Card company to reverse the charge and replace my card. It would be great if the cyber crooks could be found and punished.

I have had my debit/credit card compromised 2 times earlier this year so I keep my card locked. Imagine my surprise when I reached for my phone and I had several texts advising me someone tried to use my card, the last attempt at 08:51:58, Airbnb Inc, with the number 415-8002-5959. Luckily, my card was locked and they could not access my funds. This was one of 6 attempts. They are still trying but I cancelled the card

I got hit by this number 4 times for a total of $359. Credit Union caught it immediately, thankfully!

Unauthorized $981 withdrawl from my Credit Union One checking from AirBNB...never did business with them before or knew they existed. Wondering if CU One was hacked.

Air B&B at this number 415-800-5959 has been scamming people for years. It happened to me this month (July 2019) for a supposed reservation in California that I did not make, total $649. My credit card had to be replaced, and my bank reversed the charge. These people are being investigated for fraud, but it is to no avail as they are actually in Somalia.

Fraudulent charge of $500 on my credit card for Airbnb booking. Spent several hours with support online and on phone with supervisor. They know the host name and location but will not provide details. Sent me an email saying I have no recourse with them. This is outright THEFT since their booking system is not secured. Would you know other service providers similar to those crooks? Would like to avoid them for rest of my life. Thanks.

Got hit with 3 fraudulent charges over $1000. In the process of having bank reverse charges. Put in a ticket with Airbnb. Hopefully they'll cancel these fraudsters reservation.

On 9/15/2018 my credit card number was fraudulently used at this airbnb to the tune of $2, 381! Thank goodness my bank called me and reported it. Had to cancel the card and will receive a new one. There were also more tries at using the card that same day. I would like to know who in the heck stole my credit card number!

My credit card was used for airbnb for the sum of $1000.08 I have never used or heard about this service. Call my credit card company and cancelled card but charge still hasn't been removed from my account.

There is a charge for 208 dollars on my credit card for an Air BNB in California with the 415-800-5959 phone number. I have never used Air BNB’s services and my card is now being investigated for fraud charges within California and Wisconsin.

$248 fraud by AIRBNB on my credit card. Called my bank and multiple same charges were trying to be processed. Thank goodness I check my account daily. Had to cancel my card and order another. Someone please shut these scumbags down!!!!

There were 3 AirBNB charges on my account within 2 days on 10/18 and 10/19/18. Seems to be a pattern with AirBNB fraudulent charges.

I had a charge of $789.96 on my account. It said it was from Airbnb and had the same phone number. Luckily I got it on the day it happened and shut down my credit card. It’s just scary that this is happening to other people.

I, too, had fraudulent charges on my account in September 2019. It is sad to see that there appears to be a data breach with Air BnB, but that they are unable to contain the situation, as noted by a long list of victims here. I hope the security will improve... also had to replace my card.
