HP PRODUCT SVC&RPR

hey there I have recently order a HP PRODUCT SVC&RPR and need to cancel that ASAP please !!!

This charge appeared mysteriously in December, 2018... it is for absolutely nothing- it charged my Discover Card. Then, they changed their name in January, 2019. (Red Flag!) Then Discover gave me 2 phone numbers so it could be resolved - both phone numbers given are RED FLAGGED AS SCAMS! 1st number given 650-857-1501 - San Francisco. Don't even need to call it - just type it into your Browser. Second number-- 800-474-6836. Same thing - just use your browser. The center of this Scam seems to be Palo Alto, Ca. I have notified the FTC and AARP. They both know of this HP-Tech Scam- and are investigating. Contact them to report your own problems and issues. "HP" has a subsidiary in Boston - listed as a "foreign corporation"... all the principals of this foreign corp., live in>>>>> Palo Alto, Ca. Also report this and use this page in a Screen Shot to contact your Credit Card company. If we all stick together.... MAYBE.... just MAYBE we can see daylight on this.

I was referred to HP svc & rpr by someone in order to fix a downloading problem for a program which wouldn't work. They said they fixed the problem but I would have to join a program that would cost $14.99 a month. I agreed but after I got off the line with them the problem wasn't fixed and I have been being charged for this since January. I am about too filed fraud charges and try to get my money back through my bank.

I had a charge on my credit card for 16.23 billed monthly as well for "HP Product SVC&RPR" Try calling 844-814-1800. Option 2. Then tell them you want to cancel your subscription. They'll ask for a phone number and an email. 👌

Called numerous numbers. Finally got a person who told me he would cancel this and send me an email confirming the cancellation and possible refund. I'm skeptical because I've been dealing with this for 2 yrs now at 16.19 a month. I'm sick of scammers. I just want the charges to stop at this point. Call 1-800-474-6836 or 1-844-814-1801 and speak to Maneesh. Apparently he is a supervisor. The first attendant told me I wouldn't get a refund nor an email confirming cancellation. Maneesh told me I will get a refund as far back as 2yrs (as much as possible) and receive a confirmation of cancellation. He provided me a reference number for cancellation. I called the bank to see about blocking the charge and unfortunately according to new rules, even if I cancel my debt card and get issued a new one, they will notify all my vendors. That sucks! Hope THIS TIME IT IS CANCELLED.

The 14.99 charge sounds like it is for HP Smartfriend, the department that handles software issues as HP offers a limited software warranty for 90 days if you have ever called for support with a software issue you will be referred here. the 1-800-474-6836 is the number for HP technical support. If you go to support.hp.com, you can chat with an actual representative that will advise you on the tech support number. the 650-857-1501 is the companies corporate switchboard.

If you fell that you have been scammed by ANY company - file a complaint form with your local Attorney General's Office!!! I am doing that as we speak!

i just spent 45 minutes on the phone with HP regarding this SVC/RPR charge. They cancelled the monthly fee and gave me a "Case Number" that I will use in case they continue to charge my cc. I also asked what the charge for tech help would be without this $14.99/month per computer fee and was told $49.00. Make no sense to keep the monthly service!

I ordered a Recovery Kit from HP and got charged $15.67 on the same day. 2 days later, there's another charge from HP to my bank account for $15.85

Had this same charge on account. Reported it to card company. Representative did acknowledge it as a scam. Instead, asked if I had authorized charge. I said, "No." Representative issued me a new card. Didn't seem to care that this may be a more than one time scam. Good luck to all out there!

HP PRODUCT SVC&RPR (Service & Support) Charged on our Credit Card for $76.37. We did not order this and our computer is too old to even have this item.

The scam is stiil active and HP knows nothing. The phone numbers do not work. I had to cancel my credit card to get rid of it.
