I have a charge on my card for 9.59. This is a card that I rarely use and when we called the company they said it was for a flashlight and gave a name who it was for. That was my dad's name and how they would have had it beats me. This is very upsetting. Cancelled card and am calling credit bureau with this fraudulent bogus company!

I never use the card that this charge showed up on. I just thought it was ODD that my tax return showed up as pending the same day that this fradulent charge showed up. And I NEVER use this card, ever. It has been over a year since I had anything else post on this card. Just warning-be careful if you use turbo tax!

Yep, got charged $8.01 on my charge card and on the same day my bank notified me that there was suspicious activity on the card...they had tried to charge over $200 at some Nordstroms in Nor Cal. Our card was cancelled thankfully. Who do we report this to???

An unauthorized charge on my Visa card for $9.64 on 02-13-15 showed up from SPORTGOODSNET.COM 530-603-1903 NV. Thanks to this site and the reports from the folks on it I immediately called my credit union who cancelled my card and deducted the charge. Unfortunately, until stiff, harsh laws are enacted and enforced and/or technology increases the ability to catch or prevent this theft millions of dollars will continue to be stolen.

Same company others have reported and similar charges. It is the third time these people have tried to slip a charge onto my account in the past 8 months. Why isn't law enforcement catching these people?

I found the same charge by "SPORTGOODSNET.COM 530-603-1903 NV" on my card for 9.95. I'm in NYC. Cancelled my card immediately.

I got a transaction on February 11, 2015 from this people SPORTGOODSNET.COM which I never did. I filed a transaction dispute at the Wells Fargo Bank and I did call the number 530-603-1903 in which a woman said it was for the purchase of a flashlight. I am always on top of my accounts and that transaction, even for a small amount, clearly was not mine. The lady of the flashlight said she would issued a refund in three business days. Nonetheless, I called my bank (customer service) and ask my credit card to be changed and sent it to me rush delivery. Now, I have to spend time notifying all the companies I received different services for about that change and since I have such a busy schedule, this is going to be a real nightmare for me. Keep fighting these crocks, people!!!

I just woke up and checked my bamk account, looking for my direct deposit....but instead I saw a pending charge in the amount of 9.31, Its from Sportgoods.net. I Google the company name and came across this site. I'm not even going to call them, I'm going to my bank and see what I should do....but do I cancel my entire bank account? I have 4 to 5 companies that are automatic payment. I took something back to macy's on yesterday and today this charge. Also I have an Amazon acct. and I've used this card to make payments. THIS IS CRAZY, how do we stop them?

This unauthorized charge appeared on my VISA on 2/18/15 for $8.93. I am in San Diego, CA. Looks like they are trying to fly under the radar by charging less than $10.

I have cancelled my card now that this charge has popped up and will be completing necessary paper work with my bank. I agree with the post above from a Nickie. It is funny that this charge was aquired less than a month after my tax money was deposited into my account. I have never delt with any fraudulents on my card before. The bank that was used to depoit my tax money reads city bank on my statement.

A charge of $8.59 appeared on my bank statement on 3/26. I called the 530 number and a woman answered. It sounded like I was calling someone at home. She said she'd refund my money with no explanation of the purchase. I had already cancelled my bank card. Today, I found another $8.59 deducted from my account on my cancelled card. The bank said that the approval for this new charge was from before I cancelled my card. I called and got the same woman and by this time, I was pissed. She hung up on me and refused to answer my subsequent calls. She finally answered because I wouldn't stop calling. She said she did not steal from me and that the second charge was my refund despite the fact that it clearly shows the money taken from my account though this time it showed as a POS purchase. I don't understand how this is allowed to keep happening. I know it's not for a lot of money but it's not even a legitimate company for Pete's sake!

I just had $9.07 charged on my card from these guys. Had to cancel it.

I live in northern California. I just saw a charge for $8.90 from SPORTGOODSNET. This happened after my card was declined for a ~$10 purchase from Trader Joe's (happened the day after, coincidence?). Called the bank, they recommended I cancel the card so I did. Didn't bother calling sportgoodsnet after reading about them online, seems like they are a proxy/shell company for scammers to test stolen cards (I'm guessing they don't ask many questions when people buy things from them). I don't know how my card got leaked, since I only shop at the same places regularly (Amazon, local grocery stores).

I got charged 9.39 by Sportgoodsnet.com. When I found it, I called them and got it reversed (they credited it back to me today) and blocked my debit card and got a new one. I'm furious! I use Amazon Prime and am in the Chicago area.

I have had this same problem..charged on 1/19/2015. I checked my credit card today 1/25/15. Called my bank immediately and cancelled credit card. How they got my card number is beyond me. This is definite a fraud company ! BTW... I live in Iowa
