WALGREENS.COM #5995

On October 4, 2018, my VISA Credit Card was charged $10.78. This was an unauthorized charge.

I have a fraudulent charge from walgreens.com store #5995. It was a $9.74 charge. Reported it to the bank as well as 5 Skype charges.

Unauthorized $10.83 charge appeared on debit card out of nowhere for online Walgreens pharmacy, #5995. Had to cancel debit card and order new one.

There was a fraudulent charge on my debit card for $7.40. I called Walgreens and they said the person ordered a $.99 bottle of lotion. They also said scammers will order a small item to see if the purchase goes through. If it does then they go on a spending spree on a lot of web sites. They had already marked this as suspicious and were stopping the transaction, but I still had to cancel my debit card because someone has my number and may try again. I am also going to pursue trying to locate who did this and will most definitely press charges.

Also had 2 pendings on statement for my BOA VISA debit from Walgreen 5995. I do not use this card for any online transactions, however it was used recently for purchases at my local Walgreens in CT. Cancelled bank card but would like to see explanation from Walgreens.

I now have found out what the charge was for It was contacts ordered online ,But I didnt order thru the pharmacy ! Please be more specific when you are sending a description of what the order was for i just spent 2 hrs tracing this down only to learn Wal greens put it thru there pharmacy ?

I had this charge on my card last night, was gonna tell the bank in the morning. Then looked this morning and someone had bought 57.99 of protein?? If you see this charge immediately alert your bank! It means that someone has your card number!

There was an unknown Walgreen's purchase on my debit card for $12.50. I cancelled the card since obviously someone has my information. These scammers usually start small before making bigger purchases. Hopefully, my bank can find out who did this.

On March 10, 2019 I was charged $13.52 at Walgreens.com store number 5995, therefore my guess it was not online but at the store itself. It is not mine I do not use Walgreens now I’m going to have to cancel my credit card and get a new one what a pain in the butt.

There was a fraudulent charge made for $10.24 to my credit card today. Card has been cancelled and whoever has my card number will not be charging anything else to that card.

I have a $13.00 charge on my card to walgreens.com #599 and I did not do it. I am not sure when I used my card at walgreens last or where they got the number from but now I have the nightmare of getting a new card and when you own your own business and use the card for that, it is a nightmare to change the number.

0n 3/15/19 I had a charge appear on my check card. in the amount of 9.05. wlagreens #5995 immediately followed on 3/16/19 by another charge of 53.69 to another online vendor that I had made no purchase form. I was able to get the 53.69 cancelled because it was pending but so far and having no luck with this Walgreens charge. I was lucky to have attached an alert on my card so I was able to take action asap. Still it is a mess and I must cancel all my credit cards and bank cards

Same here, $8.63 charge for the Walgreens in Edwardsville, Ill. I spoke with a manager there he said it was the fault of CapitalOne as they had a CC breach, but I see on this thread that other CCs have also been used. My guess is that there is something up at this Walgreens where employees are in with a CC fraud ring.

Noticed a transaction Pending on Wells Fargo debit $13.89. Walgreens.com #5995, Edwardsville IL. 62025. Immediately called Wells reported fraud, card cancelled will be getting a new one. I am curious what website or source we all have a tie to as to where the information was taken from? Only info Wells shared was the trans. was at around 9am Pacific time, I was asleep.

Saw a charge for $12.95 from this Walgreens and I live in New Jersey. I reported it immediately and had my card cancelled. Just look up this stores reputation on Google, you won’t be surprised

2 charges from Walgreens # 5995 for $10 each, fraudulent. 3 other fraud charges, one for $99 next day on same card. Cancelled card.

Walgreens store 5995. A fraudulent charge of $27 on March 27, 2019. I called Visa and got a new card. The charge hasn't been 'wiped' yet.

Just had a charge reported for $179.01 from WALGREEN'S.COM using my Visa card. Fraudulent. My bank alerted me to the charge.

Walgreens #5995 charged my card $7.06 on 3/17/19. This store is in Virginia and I am in Arkansas. This is a fraudulent charge. The charge was blocked by Discover.

I live in Florida and just discovered that I went to Edwardsville, IL yesterday and spent $8.16. Funny, I think I'd remember that. It's terrifying to see how long this has been happening. Trying to get in touch with my bank to dispute charges/issue a new debit card but get it TOGETHER Walgreens. But because it's still processing there's probably not much they can do.

Woke up to a charge for $10.59 from Walgreens.com store #5995. I'm American, but I am currently out of the US. Yesterday morning about the same time, I was notified that there was an attempt to charge $10.00 from Puma.com (the athletic company). Again, not me. I'll have the card cancelled but the joke is on the thief because this card is maxed out and they aren't getting a dime. Still, going to cancel the card and report it to my bank on Monday. Have you ever tried making a phone call from Central America? Pain in the butt but I'll do it. It's my belief that someone is stealing info off this ISP address but who knows. Now I'm glad my other bank has this ISP blocked and I can't access it online here. Good luck everyone.

A charge on my MC card from Walgreens #5995 for $10.43 appeared on my recent statement along with three others from this upper Midwest area. I live about 1500 miles away and have not traveled this part of the country. Called CC issuer to cancel card and have a new one issued. Disputing all four charges. From reading other post, seems that Walgreens might need to do some investigations into their employees at this location.

My Card # 5494 was charged on2-12-2019 for 133.98 ! WTF I Dont think this is my charge . I will call my bank now! I see alot of fraud charges going on at the Store what is up with that there are 30 or more do you have an employee that is taking the numbers and making charges. the last time i was in there to buy something was before Christmas...

Had a charge on 3/31 in the amount of 16.03. from walgreens.com 5995. I was no where near a computer that day, processed 4/1 and called my bank and disputed, got a new card. Informed them of scam. Thank God I noticed so quickly and wasn't charged again!

Just had to have my card cancelled for the second time in a row due to unauthorized charges to Walgreens #5995.

Pending charge of £10.79 for Walgreens.com appeared on my credit card today - I have never bought anything from there. Bank says card is likely to be compromised and has cancelled the card.

Also had a fraudulent charge to walgreens.com #5995 on 3/7/19 through my Amazon Prime card. Interesting how they accessed the account as it is used solely through Amazon fulfillment and has never been scanned or used elsewhere. It occurred after midnight but fortunately I had left my phone on and received an alert thereby freezing the account instantly. Probably random phishing of acct. numbers.

Fraudulent charge of $10.00 on Amazon and another separate $10.00 on Amazon, as well as $11.33 at.... drumroll please.... Walgreens #5995. So pissed. Used a Chevron I normally don’t use in my area. Replacement card coming soon, thanks to Chase customer service (and their thorough screening to confirm my identity.) Stay safe out there everyone. These kinds of charges sometimes occur before even larger charges, when the thief is testing to make sure there is money flowing through your card. >:[ SO annoyed.

Saw this pop up on our card too. Checked it out and that store gets this all the time. The sent me to their corporate hotline at 800-925-4733 where i filed a claim. Just posting the number here so the poor people at store 5995 might have less phone calls about it. Good luck and put a hold on your cards if this crap pops up on yours.

I noticed a $8.54 charge to my credit card from WALGREENS.COM EDWARDSVILLE that I did not recognize. After contacting walgreens.com via online chat, I was advised to report the charge to my credit card as FRAUD. BEWARE AND MONITOR YOUR BANK/CREDIT CARD ACCOUNTS DAILY!! I'm glad I do!!

I will never shop at walgreenes again. I too have 2 fraud charges at ....YUP Edwardsville Walgreenes! Is it someone that works there and getting all our CC info?

$10.10 charge to my debit card from WALGREENS.COM #5995 EDWARDSVILLE IL . Never been there and never used the .com link. Fraudulent. Cancelled card. Somebody needs to catch these little crooks.

Two charges to my visa card were applied to Walgreens.com #5995. One on 5/26/19 for $10.01 and another on 6/4/19 for $219.00. Contacting the store by both calling and email proved useless. The two charges were 'pending,' for a number of days, as such, I was told by my bank to monitor the 'pending' charges until they became "posted," then contact them. Sadly, both transactions vanished from my account. They were nowhere to be found in my transactions list. Thank God I wrote them down. I called my bank and they were able to located them, and it was mentioned that they had been removed.

Another fraudulent charge at Edwardsville Walgreens.com for $7.94..... Calling my bank right now.

This was a fraudulent charge of $18.73 to walgreens.com store #5995 on my wells fargo debit card. Called and got the card canceled.

How can this one store #5995 have so many fraudulent charges? I found three charges on my card in the past 2 days, totaling $32.

Noticed charges for $11.91 and $12.47 on my account from Walgreens.com #5995 EDWARDSVILLE IL and instantly contacted Chase who stated both purchases occurred 2 minutes apart beginning at 4:27pm, I reported both as fraud and cancelled my card. I haven't been to a Walgreens in months, nor do I live in Edwardsville, they are investigating. Thankful to come across this page and know I'm not the only one!!

Walgreens 5995 is their on line pharmacy. If you have a home delivery pharmacy service through your insurance company, it might appear as a Walgreens charge. This is true of the Aetna Health Insurance company home delivery pharmacy.

I was charged $12.58 from Walgreens.com pharmacy. I had to cancel my card as well as call Walgreens.com support. They told me someone ordered melatonin drops but that the order was suspicious So they actually canceled it on their end.
