I was charged a $1.00 and then $49.99 without my a Authorization. I called my credit card and reported this fraud and a new card is being sent to me.

same issue here. call your credit card issurer and they should remove the fraudaulant charge. account will be closed and new card issued.

This is fraud!! Call your credit card company to inform them about the charge and get a new card!!!

My Grandmother has this on her card too! Except it says that it was charged through a payment processing company. We called them and they have NO idea what we're talking about. Now, we've got to challenge it with the credit card company.

I went to my bank account and did a dispute of charges so they can investigate the company and cancel the charge. It's better if you contact your bank so they can also report any suspicious activity to the designate authority.

I was also chsrged a $1. I called and they wanted more information to "cancel" the purchase. I said no that's very fishy and called my bank for a new card.

I was notified of a $1 pending charge on my credit card and then the charge was credited. I called my credit card company and was advised numerous customers were calling regarding fraudulent charges on their account from ADY Videostripe and the $1 charge was to make sure the credit card number was valid and the credit was to throw the customer off guard so they could start raiding customers accounts. I was told this is a common practice by scammers. I reported this to the Attorney General but in the meantime I am requesting new credit/bank cards for all my accounts and changing all my passwords - a different password for each account. I plan on changing them monthly and would recommend everyone do the same. This probably won't stop them but hopefully it will make them work to get the information. I would not doubt they are reading these posts and laughing.

This apparently is a company that claims to be a movie-watching like Netflix or Hulu. they open up an acct using someone's credit card, charge them monthly until the customer cancels. Seems like theft to me.

I just found the same thing!! OMG!!

I had $49.99 unauthorized charge placed on my debit card. The debit card company removed it and the $49.99 came through the next day. I have never heard of this company until two days ago and I never transacted or authorized any business with them. They were totally unhelpful when I called them twice and seem to have a problem understanding English and act rather taken aback when I called. So, turning to my debit card company to re-dispute this fraudulent charge a second time.
