I never authorized this to be debited.

I will report this as Fraud to the local authorities if action is not taken immediately.

Read to end!!Beware- Bzshark piggybacks on Spokeo. The charge from Bzshark 8006 came from an account I started with Spokeo. The Bzshark account piggy backed on the Spokeo account. Apparently there was a screen that came up as I was creating the Spokeo account that the Customer Care representative says I must have approved. VERY SNEAKY!!! Call Spokeo Customer Care 1-888-906-0850 or Email CustomerCare@spokeo.com tell them that you did not approved or want the Bzshark account to piggy back on Spokeo and will make sure to never use Spokeo again and post rotten thing about them and Bzshark. The Spokeo rep was kind enough to speak to Bzshark on my behalf and reverse the charge so I would recommend calling before email.

I am reporting a fraud and requesting a refund. I have the same charge on a card used only one time. This SPK has been taken 14.95 usd from my account every month since a long time ago.

Reporting a fraud! Same happen to me, same amount, same reference!!! Only used card once. Spokeo cancelled already, but SPK*BZSHARK is not the same! I kindly ask you to refund me my money! Thanks

I found this mysterious charge listed on my checking account: POS DEBIT SPK*BIZSHARK 800-649-1390 CA. I called the 800-649-1390 number around 9:00 AM Central time. The call was picked up by a representative almost immediately; I told her that I had no idea why I was being billed, and wanted to cancel any future payments. The rep. explained that a few months ago, I used a "reverse look-up" phone number service and that I had [allegedly] agreed to some type of monthly subscription. I told the rep. that I was unaware of this, and she not only cancelled future payments, but refunded all payments for the past few months. I was very happy with the outcome, but WHAT A SCAM by Bizshark Spokeo!! Be aware of using any online "free" service for background checks or looking up phone numbers - they're NOT free.

I just contacted my bank and explained what I think happened. They advised contacting these rip off artist first to see if they are willing to returning the funds to my account willingly if not they will dispute the charges. I will also be reporting this to my State Attorney's Office, the Banking Industry and anyone else I can think of. They got me for three months--no more. Sharon McElroy

Called the number on our credit card account summary for SPK*BZSHARK 800-649-1390. Spoke to an actual human and told him we did NOT authorize payment for this. He told us that we are being reimbursed for the past 2 months. Just to be sure we will contact our credit card company and tell them we did not subscribe to this service and refuse future payments for this. Hope this info helps others.

I meant in my previous post that Spokeo and Bizsharks are NOT the same! They are two different services! That's how they get you...You can cancel the Spokeo but it does NOT cancel the Bizsharks...They don't tell you that when you call to cancel Spokeo. They say nothing...Then, you, not knowing about Bizsharks, don't know to call and cancel Bizsharks as well...It's a racket

This company charged me and I did get a person on the phone to REFUND my money. This company NEEDS to stop charging when none uses their sites !!

CANCEL YOUR CARD AND GET A NEW ONE. They have your card details and will continue to take the money out.

Call 8006491390 and request a refund and a cancellation of your supposed subscription - also call your credit card company and have them block the charges - this is so underhand .

Same happened to me. I called 1-800-649-1390 and they refunded my money fully and stopped the subscription. (not that I asked for one in the first place)
