two charges appeared on my credit card and were rescinded about an hour later. I have never been in Kansas and I called the credit card company to report fraudulent charges. apparently this has happened to other people and this movie theatre is being used in a credit card scam to verify that the credit cards are valid and can be used.

I discovered it was an automatic renewal of my Stubs Premiere account with AMC.

Two charges were made on Dec. 24th one for $40.96 and the second for $64.71 about five minutes apart, paid to Amc Online 9640, Leawood KS. My bank reject the disputes and told me there's nothing they can do. Is it really this easy to steal someones money?

I did not order or buy this. I'm reporting it to my bank and BBB.

I saw the same charge and did not realize it was an auto-renewal for the AMC stubs program, I did not know that AMC stubs put you on auto-renewal. I changed the settings for next year by going to AMC stubs and canceling my membership so that next year, it will not auto-renew. I hate auto-renewals because generally, they renew at the full price, where usually it is better to let them lapse than find a better deal.
