What is it?

Was given AE gift card of $100.00 - went to use it and was declined. Looked up balance and a fraudulent purchase of $ 99.98 from ALI*TAOBAO.COM was noted in June, 2020. Not sure how they got the # and details but clearly fraud. How do I obtain a full refund ?

It was a Farther's Day gift. $300 was put on the card on 6/6/2020. On 6/8/2020$299.98 was taken by ali*tabao.com. I called American Express, the basically said-too bad. I would have to contact the merchant and have them reverse the charge.-lots of luck there.
