it was legit in my case. I had been using Erenterplan.com for renters insurance the past year; apparently they now process the payments through American National Trust in the same amount on the same monthly date. So I can see where it would cause confusion. I looked up my online bill pays for that same amount previously and saw e-renters had been replaced with this payee. Not a duplicate or scam. Legit, just a name change.

American National Trust Carrollton was charging my credit card $21.67 a month and when I called they had no record of my information. I came to this site and read LGutz post and it was spot on. I went to the www.erenterplan.com site and found their phone number: 888-512-4204. After them researching it turned out someone had purchased renters insurance with my card. Once I disputed they removed my credit card from the account and no longer billed me. Thanks LGutz!

An unexplained charge on my account of $59 with the name of American National Trust Carrollton Tx 75007, Securities Broker and Dealers. I completed a complaint to the Business Bureau and the bank.
