visa provisioning service keep trying to debit my card and I need to know why

Visa provisioning service is the validation token card information. It should show zero, as there is no monetary value to it. The token process is highly secure because by dipping your card no personal information is provided. Instead a token gets sent. The reason tokens are amazingly secure is they must be verified by visa or MasterCard. Hence the population to an account. The idea of it showing on your online account is essentially a way of letting you know the card has been verified or attempted to have been verified. The same way now that visa and MasterCard dial out for return transactions. Sometimes it’s possible to see two debits, one is usually a credit the alternate a debit. The authorization is transparency so the cardholder is aware of activity.

This appeared on my banks checking account and I want to know what it is for.

It happened to me too. But mine wasn’t with ApplePay. Mine did it with PayPay when I added my visa to it. My bank told me it was just to verify my card and no charges will appear.

This exact same thing just happened to me. Yesterday, I added my TD Bank Visa debit card to Apple Pay on my iPhone and now I have this "authorization Visa provisioning servic" for $0.00 showing up as pending on my TD account. I guess it's just Apple Pay trying to validate/verify the Visa card that I added.

If this happened to your card and you didnt do it, then someone else is trying to add your card to their Apple Pay or other similar function

Can you help? What is this charge?
