This showed up as a debit on my bank statement. This was for an Ulta credit card.

These are payments made to a card issued by comenity capital bank

Comenity Capital Bank autopay for a credit card issued by BJ's Wholesale Club, a warehouse club in the northeast US like Sam's Club or Costco.

IKEA credit card payment

For me, it was my ULTA credit card payment.

B&H Photo Comenity credit card. A terrible abbreviation making it very hard to understand source or validity of charge.

This charge was in my bank account statement as "COMN CAP APY F1" it is for Autopay with Comenity Bank (COMENITY PAY NS WEB PYMT 800-395-5714). They service the following store cards: BigLots, Victoria Secrets, Bealls Outlet, etc.

For me it is Burlington Coat Factory credit card payment. Comenity Bank processes many Credit Cards for smaller businesses.

direct debit Comn Cap Apy f1 appeared on my bank statement,Jan 2023. 145.18. I do not have an account with any of their clients, Have never heard of them. I have no idea when the charge was made but it was posted to account Jan. 20, 2023.

For me I believe it may be my Academy Sports credit card. Threw me for a loop as well. First appeared in August for me.

As others pointed out, COMN CAP = Comenity Capital Bank and it actually runs your XYZ credit card.

Comenity Bank runs many, many cards - store cards, credit cards, etc. So, if you have a Buckle card, or Big Lots (examples) or a card that you’re unsure of the regular charge and minimum payment - it’s ran through this bank. It works the same as synchrony and amazon, if that makes sense.
