My credit card was charged $495.00 for a faucet that I didn't order nor has any merchandise been delivered!

I recently had charges show up on my credit card that i did not make. From reading here it seems like the crooks are using this site a lot for their ill gotten gains.

It is for merchandise purchased through Build.com website

Build-Charge.om is the name that appears on your credit card statement when you order through one of their 21 websites. If you see the charge and are not familiar with it, please call 800-375-3403, that is the Build.com website. They can look it up. If you did not make the purchase, please let them know and then call your credit card website.

people who steal credit cards or buy credit card information placed orders anywhere they can get the card accepted and for product they can usually resell with no problem (for example, i know people who have bought items on Ebay, the thief takes their info, then keeps it and uses stolen info to buy through other merchants and ships directly to the person who ordered through them through Ebay).
