What is it?

This is from Dashlane support: We authorize a smaller, temporary charge ahead of time (known as a card authorization hold) to help us validate your credit card information upon the automatic renewal of your subscription. If this fails, we then send an email to let you know that your subscription is at risk of being unable to automatically renew, and request that you update the credit card information on file

I'd like to also let you know that these card authorization holds aren't processed, and are immediately voided. A temporary authorization hold for a small amount might appear on your statement and are removed by your card issuer or financial institution after a short time. If you have any additional questions or concerns about this, please reach out to your card issuer directly, since they'll have more visibility on the status of the transaction itself.

You tried to charge me out og the blue.
