01/09/22 fraudulent charge on my Visa: HOME-REPAIRJOINFEE 800-240-1371 $1.00. Did not join or solicit this site. Reporting to Visa. Googled this #800 number. It's used by several questionable sites including 'Just Answer.com' which I actually was connected to in January. I was on a legitimate furnace manufactory's webpage to get some tech info and was auto-transferred to site 'JUSTANSWR'. The 'Midnight Tech' on the site was knowledgeable and resolved my info problem. He told me about signing up for future service calls but I did not sign up. I was not told about billing for this service info call. My 01/22 Visa statement shows 01/12/22 $24.00 charge HOME-REPAIRPHONECALL 800-240-1371 and 01/12/22 $37.00 charge HOME-REPAIR*JUSTANSWR. 800-2400-1371. I am asking Visa to also check this out. I would agree to pay the JustAnswr as I did receive the information I needed. But do not agree that I should be charged for the 'H-R Phonecall'. Have copied down all the "businesses" that use this 800# and posted in both of my credit cards' files as I do not trust the integrity of several of those listed and will be on the watch. LD

I have been charged $28 per month for over a year. I cancelled the card yet it is still being processed. I contacted them and they said I don't have a membership. ILLEGAL! Never called this site and never gave a credit card number to anyone. Got charged $5 on 11/20 then charged $28 on 11/24. This was a brand new bank account debit card.

For any one trying to cancel go to the website Justanswer.com/help/ and click the cancel membership and log in. You can also call 1-800-984-6742. not sure how effective the call will be. There web site is monitored by bots and their "customer service" pop ups will eventually route you.

charged $40 in March and and $40 in April. Received some useless info in March believing it free and charged again in April for nothing.

I used this service several months ago to resolve an ice maker issue. The person on the line was able to answer my questions and got the ice maker issue resolved. Now 2 - 3 months later, I have a fraudulent $40 charge on my credit card statement and the only way to resolve it was to pay this company $5.00 to speak to a representative and of course give them another credit card number. Absolutely not!

A charge for $60 showed up on my credit card statement and I did not charge this. Looks like a scam. I've reported it to Visa.

Reported you to Federal Trade Commision. Also reported you to capital one. You are crooks. Took 37.00 out of our account two x. We were scammed. Told us it was 2.00 for one answer. We filed with Capital One and you got nothing. Here it is 2 months later and you’ve done it again. There are numerous complaints on your company. This is fraud. I’m going to FTC again.

Continual charges monthly for nothing and am unable to cancel so called membership. Next step: lawyer

I authorized a $5 charge for tech services and was disconnected before finishing chat with the tech. Unable to get another response so I checked my CC account and they had already charged an unauthorized $40. Locked my account until dispute is over. Total scam!!!

Charged $37.00 from Advicus so something I know nothing about. I do not know how they got my CC number.
