A healthcare magnate mistreated me when I visited an ER has me in their system as "DNT" (do not treat). I found fault not only with MY treatment, but also identified GME voids. I complained TO them & also to JCHAO, OSHA and the ACGME. Upon returning to this place 2 yr's later, and again 8yr's later at "branch" they refused to even take my temp. To see ONE of their PCP's or ANY of many "same" specialists, I'd be escorted out. One complaint=losing care by >3500 MD's. How do you measure that? I'd like to move upstate, but they've made ALL doctors "sign" if they want what they'd had for years: Hospital privileges. An Anti-trust suit was squashed by their mafia-like high-powered legal team. To move back to Western PA, I'd have to have an identity change! If a Resident or Fellow makes a mistake, they are then indentured and are made to join the "Practice" which is now covering the entire Western aspect of Pennsylvania and I CAN'T FIND ANY DOCTOR who isn't connected to them; I need a higher authority to take an account of these doctors' actions; the hospital I want to move near WILL NOT ALLOW doctors hospital privileges; the older doc's retired and others are suddenly dealing with Mafia-type Bosses and hate it. NO ONE HERE, INCLUDING established physicians HAS A CHOICE and the death rate since the takeover has increased SIGNIFICANTLY. I'd have MORE choice if I lived in a HPSA! This Mob-like conglomerate should NOT refuse established Kane Hospital medical personnel entrance and area MD's SHOULD BE ASKED IN CONFIDENCE what's REALLY happening.
Sincerely, A pained patient with NO choices Kane, PA
