I had a 45.00 dollar charge from Sam's Annex Bentonville Ar this morning. I figured it was fraud and you all confirmed this. Thank you

I have a pending charge of $100.00 on my debit card from Sam s Annex-sam Loc: Bentonvillear. Can you please tell me about this. I have not made any purchases.

I had a charge on my bank card for $45.00 from Sams annex Bentonville Arkansas! I live in Florida. I notified my bank and they closed my card because of fraud activity. I called my Sams club here and the manager said that the $45.00 was a automatic renewal for Sams Club and the renewal goes through Bentonville AR. Didn't remember sighning up for automatic renewal!!

Unauthorized charge at SAM S ANNEX-SAM S MMBR for $100.00

I was fraud like all the other people woke up this morning and checked my bank statements and saw that samsclub.com Bentonville Arkansas had charged me a $100.00 right then I notify my bank and they stated that they were going close my card and give me a temporary card until my new one comes but they are investigating this craziness.

I also had a charge from samsclub.com for $1.00. I called Sam's customer service and the representative explained to me that this is done periodically to ensure the card associated with the membership is still valid. After the card is validated, the $1.00 will be credited back to the account.

I have a charge for $45 I do not live in arkansas...........I see other people have same problem.........this has been reported to my bank fraud section.........

I woke up this morning to four charges of $45 to sams club AR. I’ve never had a sams club membership. While on the phone with my bank, which I called immediately, they attempted to charge my card for the 5th time of $45, but at that point they had drained my account. Called the sams club office, and reported it as well, they told me they hadn’t heard of this happening… which I don’t believe. The fact that they drained my account, and made all of these transactions, five total, within minutes of each other, I watched in horror as my account was drained. To those of you who are saying on here that this isn’t fraud and we all have “bad memories” I’d like to give you the middle finger.. I would know if I was a member… and no member would be charged 5 times a years membership fee within minutes, until the account was depleted. This is fraudulent activity. If this happens to you, yes call your bank, but report it to sams club. Otherwise this is sure to continue…. my guess is that an employee of sams club is in on it.

It is for a Plus Membership. Call 888-746-7726 to have them reverse the $100.00 back to the regular membership of $45.00 = a credit to YOUR account of $55.00.

This evening I was at home and checked my bank account. Lo and behold I had 9 seperate charges for 45 dollars a piece for Sams Club in Bentonville Arkansas! Considering I live in Montana and have never been to Arkansas...and that the charges were made late in the evening Mountain Time...I can only assume that someone fraudulently gained access to my card numbers and used them as some sort of scam via Sams Club in Arkansas. I can see that this isn't new, so someone in that Sams Club is gaining access to people's accounts and running them through as memberships, then probably refunding them as cash on the back end. I will be calling the local Sams Club and Sams Club / WalMart stores IO tomorrow to get this resolved. Considering this has happened to many people and I am NOT a member of Sams Club there is some obvious fraud going on here and I plan on getting to the bottom of it. I am also contacting the FBI fraud division because, according to the number of reports on here alone, the amounts far exceed the total needed to charge someone with identity theft and fraud as well as felony theft.

I live in the bahamas I have bo sams club membership nor do i shop with sams club but had a charge of amost 900 dollars this us ridiculous ive reported the incident and disputed it to my bank. I don’t have a sams club membership and my cash app card was charged $110 at 6:25 am CST on 01/26/2023. I was asleep and woke up to this charges. No one can tell me that this isn’t fraud. I DO NOT HAVE AND NEVE HAVE HAD A Sam’s Club membership!!! I called sam’s to ask what was going on and they told me that they weren’t authorized to give out membership information. Be somehow it’s okay for someone to use MY CARD to “renew” or purchase membership?! This is insane! I would never pay $110 to shop somewhere. I do not have money to waste and just give away. This is not right!

Unauthorized charge to my bank account of 113.96 from Bentonville Arkansas. I am not even a member at Sam's Club.

I had 2 charges of $45.00 each, post to my credit card, on 2 different dates, from SAMSCLUB.COM BENTONVILLE. Since I knew I had not shopped at Sam's Club recently, I contacted samsclub.com via online chat. I was advised by the agent to report these charges to my credit card as FRAUD. BEWARE AND CHECK YOUR BANK/CREDIT CARD ACCOUNTS DAILY!! I do, and boy am I glad!!

Woke up this morning to a charge of 108.75 on 5/23/2022from a Sams Anex Bentonville AR. With myself being in Japan and sleeping there’s no way I made that charge. Reported to my bank and card was deactivated. Can’t report fraudulent use until payment has posted. With all these post hopefully something is done about this.

I just had a charge of $140 from sams memborship Bentonville AR. I live in California and I have the cheapest membership at Costco. What the hell is going on?? And how did they get my card #?? Just the fact that this has happened to so many people, how is this still happening??

The $100. charge from Sam's Club is for a PLUS Membership. If you do not want a PLUS Membership it should only be $45. They debited my account for $100. and I am calling them at 888-746-7726 after 7:00 A.M. CST to have them reverse the debit in the amount of $55.00. You can go to SamsClub.com and "somewhere" find the link to contact them, but call them and bitch them out.

Received notification alert that my card was used while not present. I check my online account and notice the Sams Annex Sams transaction. I’m not a member but did purchase something last year for a parent with this card online. I’m starting to believe Sams Club online was compromised and my CC info stolen. I can’t remove my card from Sams account and that’s frustrating. I’m having to report this transaction as fraud with my bank which is just as frustrating. Ugh.

This is the automatic renewal of Sam's membership; it is not fraud. The charge is $45.00 for the basic membership, and $100.00 for the PLUS (which includes services similar to AAA) membership. If you don't want automatic membership renewal, go to your online account and uncheck the "auto-renew" flag for it. You can also delete or change your credit card information in the membership dashboard.

I was charged $100 on my debit card 6/3/21 for a Sam's card membership from Bentonville, AR. I did not make this charge, I live in TN, I had just paid my membership in Feb for Mar renewal, I call Sam's Club they told me my $45 membership was already paid for, then call my Credit Union and they transfer me over to the card company to do an investigation.

My card was cancelled and a new card will be issued. ADVICE: Use a credit card for all purchases - it's easier to dispute it and get your money back!

The charge is a renewal fee for the Sam's Club membership. I doubt that ANY of the above cases are fraud. Anyone who says they never authorized? Ya did... when you signed up for the privilege to shop there. The dramatics that I see in the above posts. I'd like to see the percentage of "fraud" cases are just people with a bad memory. It's all of you people who posted that causes chaos and panic. So you report it to you bank, You get your money back and you get your Sam's club membership…the one that you authorized in the first place.
