I used card at the pump and was charged both the amount I purchased in fuel AND a $75 transaction, which I can only assume is a hold.
However, if the purpose of the hold was to clear me for a purchase under that amount, I should not have incurred BOTH charges. I should have incurred tthe $75 charge and then when it went from pending to posted it should have been adjusted to the corrected amount (what I actually got).
I understand gas pump holds but I never knew one to charge you BOTH the actual amount AND the Hold amount. Doesn't make sense
