TWC*TIME WARNER CABLE 910-763-4638 NC RECURRING

Debit card was charged 50.00 saying it was Time Warner. It is not time warner and the number doesn't work. Bank issued a refund.

This is a charge stating it is from Time Warner Cable. I don't have an account with TWC. TWC is not available in Pittsburgh, where I am from. I called TWC and they are having their fraud department look into this. I called my bank and had the temporary hold of $100.00 put in dispute.

My card (BB&T) was charged for $298.45 and it states on my statement that it is for: TWC*TIME WARNER CABLE 910-763-4638 I have no account with Time Warner and we do not have Time Warner provider in my area. I tried to call the number but just the same as the previous postings above it is not a valid number. I called my bank to have the charges reversed and to cancel my card and issue me a new one since it has been compromised. Reading the postings above this scam has been going on since 2015. Can somebody do something and track whoever is doing this scam?

I just noticed these charges on my business bank account. The only people that access to the account are: 1. Google and 2. The IRS. Wonder which one is at fault. Total of three charges. Total Charges of $713.74.

I just discovered a TWC Time Warner Cable 910-763-4638 NC charge that has been recurring on my credit card since November 2018! I don't have a TWC account! I googled the number and found this site. Thank goodness! I called my credit card company immediately to have the charges disputed. They are issuing me a credit. Can't believe this scam has been successful for so many years. Watch your credit card statements closely!!

They took 339.00 from me and i don't even have spectrum in my name, or ever paid a bill with my card

I had "PURCHASE TWC*TIME WAR 910 763 4638 NC CARDxxxx" on my Wells Fargo transaction statement. I recently called Time Warner Cable at the number (919) 729-6869 to order the cable and then confirm my order at the number (877) 232-5588. I looked the 877 number up and it said nothing about it, it wasn't even listed as a Time Warner Cable number. I was a bit concerned and nervous that it was all a fraud and it was all a fake scam. But the day after (today) they came early around 7:30 (the scheduled time was 8am-9am), but gladly I was down the road on the way home. Turned out it was a scam or a fraud, the lady hooked up our cable, our internet and our phone. So if you live in North Carolina and you call those numbers it's not a scam. But you do have to watch out for the numbers you call. I looked up information about these numbers for hours and I was so worried, I had nothing to worry about after all.

just noticed 2 charges on business charge card from TWC* Time Warner Cable 910 763-4638. When you call all you get is fast beeping sound. One charge was in November and one in December 2018 that totaled $336.17 We have Windstream and has never used TWC - Looks like a fraud to me and I sure hope they get caught!
