What is it?

I just noticed a charge of $70.02 from UBR Postmates on a Visa Card we have not been using. I have never in my life ordered food through google maps and I have never ordered any food online!!! Another person on this site posted a similar problem and the answer that it is for a food order does not apply or make any sense at all in my case. I will be notifying the bank of Visa fraud.

I have a charge on my Mastercard for $32.23 for UBR POSTMATES. I did NOT make this charge

A charge of $36.37 showed up on my credit card on 8/23/22. I don’t have a account and I don’t use Uber postmates

I had a $112 charge on my debit card for Uber postmates. I did not order anything!

2 transactions on my acct from ubr postdated from California. I did not make these

61.55 just got charged to my card. I want this explained.

$13.20. It’s a small charge but I did not order anything. I am unfamiliar with this UBR Postmates. Will be be reporting this as a fraud and request VISA to not pay.

I got a similar charge. Turns out it was Buffalo Wild Wings where I ordered food for pick up. They are using Uber apps for their charges.

63.36 was reported on my card.. I didn't do

I dispute the charge of $87.06 on Aug. 29. This is a fraudulent charge.

Food ordered in Google Maps and through Postmates

The "Ubr Postmates" charge on a credit card statement refers to a transaction made through the Uber Eats or Postmates food delivery services. Both Uber Eats and Postmates are popular platforms that allow users to order food from local restaurants and have it delivered to their location.

When you place an order through Uber Eats or Postmates, they typically require you to provide a credit card or other payment method to process the payment for the food and delivery service. The charge appearing on your credit card statement as "Ubr Postmates" is the result of this transaction.

If you see a charge from "Ubr Postmates" on your credit card statement and you don't recall making the transaction, it's possible that someone else used your credit card information to place the order. In such cases, it's important to contact your credit card issuer immediately to report the unauthorized charge and take appropriate steps to protect your account.

Remember, it's always a good practice to regularly review your credit card statements to ensure that all the charges are legitimate and accurate.

I ordered online take out from Red Robin (yum!) thinking it was through Red Robin’s website, but apparently it was actually this third party that a google search linked me to. No big deal except that I might have paid a couple bucks extra

I received an unknown charge on my credit card on 7/2022 listed as: UBR POSTMATES 8005928996 CA 32.33

Calling the 800 number I found our this was allegedly an UBER payment service (or Uber food delivery) - but my UBER account was not linked to this card. Also, I had not used UBER for several months prior, and never used their food delivery service.

I filed a FRAUD claim with my credit card and they have since confirmed that I am not responsible for the charge. I received a permanently credit for the charge.

This charge showed up on my Credit Card account. I did not order anything to be delivered UPR POSTMATES 8005928996 CA $54.43

Can you help? What is this charge?
