No idea why they suddenly changed their display name; I've been a customer for 15 years and their charges were always clearly labeled "Progressive"… until now.
I was about five seconds from blocking this charge. Good thing I checked first, jeez.
it was a charge to my bank account for Progressive insurance. this was helpful as it verified that I had to a payment Draft that was going to overdraft my bank account.
To echo what has already been discovered - this credit card charge is directly associated with your vehicle's insurance premium, provided you have purchased an auto insurance policy from Progressive Automobile Insurance. It is not fraudulent, and should not be considered a security breach unless of course you do not subscribe to such a policy.
