I rang VistaPrint on 08004960350 with regards to a payment of 47.88 that was taken from my account... for no purchase... they were very polite... and explained that it was a payment for my website- the one I didnt know I had... you see they had given me a free website for a month - and I must not have ticked a box to cancel--- so i was paying for a website I didnt know I had...
anyway.... I explained this to them and they agreed to refund the money...
Do not confuse VISTAPR - VistaPrint.com with VISTAPR - www.webs.com.
The former is a business card/marketing product website, and seems to be legitimate as no complaints seem to identify it's website (check the comments above, they all mention www.webs.com).
The later is a web hosting company that seems to have a lot of fraudulent charges associated with it.
I have the VISTAPR www.webs.com charge appear on my card as well, and am upset about it, but want to make sure people are getting mad at the right company.
VISTAPR*VistaPrint.com 866-6148002 CA I had a $4.99 charge from this website on my credit card. I never went to this website or ordered anything. I called my credit card company they said I had a recurring charge. I dont know how it even got there. Am worried about card theft. Should I cancel my credit card?
My credit card has been charged with a fee for $144.53. I have not purchased any product from Vista print for 12 months. I have contacted the bank and will be contacting the police unless my money is returned immediately.
It's webs.com. I have two websites with them. They charged me 29.95 and didn't bother to email either of my websites to let me know what the charge was for. The first time I chatted with them, they let me believe that it was a hacker who had gotten my card information. They didn't own up to charging my card. The representative even added a smiley face to the end of his/her sentence when saying that it couldn't have been them, because webs looks likes "insert nonsense". Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I accepted their explanation thinking that it was just a hacker. My husband called the bank to have the charge taken off. When the charge reappeared, I chatted with the folks at webs again. I told them that I was going to screenshoot the entire conversation. They started to give me the runaround telling me over and over again that I was being charged 4.95 for my premium service. So I asked them over and over again "Where does the 29.95 charge come from?" And reminded them "I'm saving this" until they fessed up...I guess. They said that the charge came from the yearly domain charge, but it was supposed to be 19.99. So not only did they deny charging anything the first time, but they now admitted that they over charged me. So...you fine people may be paying 180.00 and such yearly for your domain name. It is indeed webs who is taking the money from your account. Not vistaprint. They are under the same company. Same people. Don't go easy on them. Oh yeah, I told them that they needed to "secure their site so that this type of thing wouldn't keep happening to their customers", so they had no choice but own up to the charge or let me believe that they have crooked employees or a faulty site. In my opinion, someone at webs is a little greedy. Nice web pages though.
My credit card shows a charge of $9.00 by VISTAPR www webs com that I did not authorize and know nothing about. I have disputed with Chase Credit Card
