Community Feedback

If you have used a vending machine in which you swipe your credit card you will see a statement like above on your card activity. Depending on where the main office is located, the following city or state may appear. Ex: CMSVEND*CV HOUSTON, HOUSTON, TX, USA

This is a vending machine used in most hospitals. If you swiped your card at a vending machine, that is the charge. It is not where you swiped it - it is where their service center is. IE: I live in Quakertown, I swiped in Quakertown, but it says Allentown (their service center location).

Hope this helps.

I had my money deposited at 12am and there was a charge in Hagerstown at 5am when I was asleep and I live more than a few hours away from there

People are stupid. Thumbs downing a very informative post. The very first post explains exactly what the charge is. If you thumbs down the post, you are doing this on purpose or are too stupid to have a card. Please return your card to you issuer immediately.

I had use CMS vending machine to get 4 cans pop I got a charge of 45.00 on my credit card. I had to talk to my bank to get a dispute so I can get my money back. What be done with this problem

4 charges to cmsvend*cv Bay Area vend San Jose for 4.10, 4.25, 4.25. All were for the date of August 18th. That entire day I was in Walnut Creek 80 miles from San Jose.

Regardless if the card is swiped at a vending machine, it should still require the user to enter a PIN#. Otherwise, the purchase should be denied, right?

Charged to my card today:

CMSVEND*CV FARMI $3.00 COCA COLA MASPETH $1.50 MMS 533 SERVICE CORP $20.96

All three fraudulent charges. These are vending machines in New York, yet I'm located in Texas. If you see MMS and CMSVEND showing up on your statements, contact your credit card companies!
