What is it?

so my credit card had a $56.87 charge and the notation was

at&t v500 10080 800-331-0500 tn

it looked strange so i called the number.

i called the 800 number and after lot of research the charge was legit. it was the tax for a recently purchased iphone.

Looks like the same charge that was on my account. Looks to me like it is the same person laughing at us thinking that we are fools. The only fraud is the person committing the crime and stealing from everyone. I’m gladly gathering my information and taking it to the police. I work too hard for my money for someone to steal it and act like they are innocent or that it was their cousin or something for example. Just a guess. Get a job and leave people alone.

My debit card had a $179.00 charge for AT&T V500 10080. The charge was pending so I contacted my bank to dispute the charge and got a new credit card. The next day the charge was no longer showing on my account. I use that card for my Netflix and Amazon account, so I entered the new account number on those accounts. Two days later that $179.00 for AT&T V500 10080 appeared again and is pending to be paid.

AT&T V500 10080 for $92.63

This is for the taxes for the Galaxy Note phone I just recently purchased. I actually bought 2 phones, and I thought I was already charged, but they only charged for the first phone the first time, then the 2nd phone the second time. The 2nd phone was backordered because it was a different color, which was why they are just now charging for the tax for it. :)

Had this charge today for $114. Reported it to my bank.

Just now, 11/16/21 for $525.96. I have all charges on my card messaged to my cell phone. Immediately called card provider and reported it as fraud. Card was immediately shut down. Should have new one with new number in 2 days.

When I Googled the source of the charge as given on the text i received, this was the top "hit". So I want to do my part to share the information with others.

Had a similar event for a fraud charge today. I just called in it. I'm glad that I found this information.

I got a text on my phone from my credit card company asking if I just tried making a purchase for $546.70. I immediately responded no and then called the credit card company. They did inform me that the transaction was declined. I suggest that you go to your credit card companies websites and note that you want a text or email whenever a transaction is attempted for $50 or more. I've done this and when I make a purchase over $50 I immediately get a text letting me know a transaction has occurred. Too many dirtbags out there trying to steal your info. Get a job and a life dirtbags!

Same freaking thing as well. Mine was the highest so far on here. Just earlier this morning (CA time at around 6:30 am and 9:30 am in Memphis, TN). I got a text message notification from CAPITAL ONE - WALMART Credit Card that they approved a $970.75 charge from AT&T V500 10080 today 11/11/21, and I called the fraudulent team from Capital One, and he said that someone tried to purchase by either entering or giving my credit card number manually. I'm not sure if you can actually just give out the credit card numbers at the store without the actual physical credit card. I'm not sure if they cloned my card or if the numbers are sufficient to make a fraudulent transaction. The agent already canceled it, and I will receive a new card next week. This is ridiculous. There is no way I will purchase from TN, plus, I have no AT&T account/s whatsoever.

Can you help? What is this charge?
