What is it?

We were charged from aws.amazon.coWA on our Bank of America Credit Card for $3000.00, $3000.00, $3150.00, $3050.00, $3550.00, $3550.00 in one month's time and want to know what the charges were for.

The only other website I could find mentioning this says it's fraud and originates in Denmark. I don't even have cards saved in Amazon and haven't for at least a few months now yet this charge is now pending for me.

Also, I don't use Amazon's cloud feature. Every time it has popped up asking me, I refuse. I also haven't turned on my Amazon device in at least a month, so it wasn't triggered somehow. It this was legit, I would be getting an email asking for a card to charge.

My checking account was charged 1.00 for AWS. I never signed up for the service

It's totally valid. Comes from Amazon Web Services which provides cloud services. Sometimes people get the free tier accounts initially, and when this expires, your card gets charged for the services used.

Can you help? What is this charge?
